Volunteerism has been imparted in students from a young age. Schools actively encourage students to participate in volunteer activities out of school, such as visiting elderly daycare centres, orphanages etc.
Events such as The Orange Ribbon Run (ORR) helps to rally the community to take a stand against racism and promote graciousness among the races.
There are many opportunities for youths to connect with each other at different events. Like-minded youths can share their thoughts with one another and mantain the harmony among youths of different races.
Through events like, the SpeakUp! Dialogues Series, youths can take part in discussions about race relations. This encourages youth advocacy and the younger generation can speak their mind freely.
